    And it would seem that state legislatures are asking if the cost of maintaining the entire permit system is justified by any benefit to the public and coming up with the same conclusion.

    It isn’t.

    I lose track of the actual count, but I know we’re at over 50% of the states have agreed with your solution and gotten rid of the permits. Some of those who no longer require a permit still issue one to those who apply for the purpose of state to state reciprocity.

    Look for even those to dwindle as the number of states requiring permits drops towards zero.

    I think we’re headed towards true “Constitutional Carry” where whether or not you go about armed is no one’s business but your own as long as you behave.
