Man handcuffed after retailer sold him a stolen gun [More]
Interesting that government evidently has the information but won’t share it…
I also find it interesting that in this case, the “real reporters” were happy to go out of their way to share a description.

Here we have a disgusting example of how the FBI utterly FAILS to do their job. THey maintain a database of hot firearms, the cop at that bridge in Tennessee can access that, but no FFL can? That is NUTTTZ. And wilfully so. FBI can “flip a switch” in an instant and open that channel up to FFL’s. They freely choose not to.
Congress need to change that. Soon. This poor sap could have spent a few days in the slammer for buying a used gun several states and two years away. And he is STILL out the price of the handgun he bought. It would seem the judge back in MN should have at least ordered Sheel’s to reimburse their defrauded customer the price of the gun they wrongly sold.
“A KARE 11 investigation exposes a major flaw in the nation’s ability to track and recover stolen guns.”
Gaslight. $20 says the theft victim in Glendale never sees that gun again.
