As long as U.S. Jews overwhelmingly support Democrats and consider people like me domestic terrorists, I’m not sure what my expected reaction should be.
And I know it’s verboten to suggest inordinate influence, but let’s look at one of the major driving forces for the sentiment.

Anyone investigating this should definitely not look into why four Israeli “art students” were dancing and celebrating in New Jersey as they watched the twin towers burn on 9/11. They were later interviewed on Israeli TV about it claiming they were sent by the Israeli government to “document the event.” Don’t even go down the rabbit hole of wondering exactly how someone can be sent to document a terrorist event ahead of time.
Instead, let’s just focus on how Israel is our best ally! Let’s also not look into what Israel is currently doing to Christians in Gaza…
