  1. After the terms ‘Negroes’ and ‘Colored People’ fell out of favor we used ‘Black’ and ‘African American’ only to come (almost) full circle and now use the term ‘People of Color’.

    Seventy plus years of progress for ‘Colored People’ to become ‘People of Color’.

    Hollywood, land of the preposterous, would reject a screenplay with a story line like that.

    But you could probably get a research grant to trace that etymological transformation, and I bet somebody already has.
