Say goodbye to your favorite FFL because your state legislature is about to run them all out of business. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses HB 2118, which is now set to be put on the floor in the Senate tonight, and is expected to pass. [Watch]
Fortunately, the black market won’t have to comply with any of this targeted harassment.

I’m remembering when Washington, DC had only one FFL, and that was Josh Sugarmann of the VPC. You hear of blighted inner cities being referred to as “food deserts” due to a lack of grocery stores. This story is about a cabal of far left fringe Democrats trying to turn an entire state into a gun desert.
One thing they should have learned from Prohibition and The War on Drugs. If people really want something they’re going to get it. No law or set of laws will stop someone from supplying a market. But the buyers will have to go to a criminal to buy.
An Ayn Rand quote comes to mind.
“There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
When did Washington become so short of criminals that the state government felt it needed to create new ones in wholesale batches?
Because, mark my words, new criminals are the only possible outcome of what they propose. Washington residents had better get a good 3D printer and/or a Ghost Gunner and learn how to use it while you still can.

I’ve got a better idea: All gun owners sign on to a Resolution of Non-Compliance and send it to all members of the State government, the State Police, all local Sheriffs and Police Departments informing them that all of the State’s gun control laws are null and void due to their lack of Constitutionality and any enforcement thereof will be resisted by whatever force necessary.
We did that down here in Florida when they were proposing an “Assault Weapons” ban. The Republican Liberty Caucus adopted the version I wrote and we sent it out to every State legislator and all police agencies, telling them such a ban would not only be ignored but physically resisted if necessary. The proposed ban died on the vine.
If you’d like a copy of the resolution, holler at the email below. You can edit and modify it to fit your needs.
