Pregnant Liberal Women Pop Tylenol to Rebel Against Trump’s Autism Announcement [More]
Remind you of anything? I guess it’s not like they won’t ruin the kids they don’t abort anyway.
Only on “gun violence/public health,” “climate change,” and “gender fluidity,” right?
Like Larry Elder says, “A facts to a liberal is like Kryptonite is to Superman.”
And like Urban Dictionary says… (NSFW)

When I was a kid back in the 1950s, there was no Asberger’s, no autism, and no ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Oh, there were plenty of kids who didn’t “act right” but there were no commonly used terms to describe what was going on.
Nowadays, we have the language to describe their behavior, but actually still have no idea what causes it or what doesn’t, just a few hints that it may have a genetic component. Imagine one of Kamala’s beloved Venn Diagrams with only one circle. You’re either in the circle or not but at present no one knows why.
So if no one knows what causes ASD, the opposite side of that coin is than no one knows what doesn’t cause it either, and DJT’s guess is as good as yours or mine.
As the father of an adult son who has recently been diagnosed as having ASD, I’m reading a very interesting and informative book written by a former Microsoft engineer who was also diagnosed as being “on the spectrum” as an adult.

If you know someone who is “on the spectrum”, or if you suspect you might be, I highly suggest you read Dave Plummer’s book. It was an eye opener for me and I suspect it might be for you as well.
I’m firmly convinced I’d have been diagnosed ADD had it been a thing in those days– I always figured what was going on in my head interested me more than what some teacher was droning on about– if it grabs my attention and compels me, I’m a seive and damn near eidetic — if it doesn’t, I just can’t grok it. I remember being extremely frustrated pulling an all-nighter studying for an economics midterm and reading the same passage over and over and not being able to discern what the damn thing was saying, and as much as I appreciate the existential essentialness of physics, the most basic minutiae overwhelm me so I grope through trying to understand what the quantum boys are talking about when they expound on quarks, string theory, charm, flavors, entanglement, and the like –although I expect most of them are bullsh!++ing, too, when it comes to being able to claim they actually understand it, and 200 years from now will look like witch doctors.
I’m also bad with names and faces. I had a boss once who could meet you once and you were embedded. Very helpful in team leading. It’s part of why he was the boss.
But bring up something I immerse myself in because it resonates with my principles, interests, and soul, and I have no trouble coming up with a link from 25 years ago from when I first looked into it, or a memory from early childhood. Or Star Trek TOS dialog, as cheap, stupid and Space UN-y as some of those episodes were. And don’t get me started on lyrics to 60s TV theme songs.
And now I’ve got work to do, and here’s another reason why it can take me so long–I can be easy to distract, which is why, knowing I have new and exclusive article to write that I’d like to see posted today, I saw your comment and felt compelled to share my two cents. Tell me a joke and it resurrects three more I just gotta share.
