I wish I’d been there and acting as their tour guide. I’d start them out in that top floor corner office with lots of large windows facing part of the school campus, the other side facing the school’s car park. I would have described how that school official noticed, then recognised, then identified, in as uch time as it takes you to read this, a certain young male as he exited his car and headed toward the school building. Said school guy knew this lout had a court restraining order that prohibited him entering any part of that school campus, having been epelled when he was committing a felony act. Thus this “yute” was subject to immediate arrest. Said school poohbah also knew full well that said yute had committed at least three otehr felony level crimes, for none of which he was ever prosecuted, else he’d never have been able to purchase what he carried in a Cabelas soft side gun case of a type designed for an AR pattern rifle, and a number of TEN round magazines. Said school officer observed and contemplated all of this and.. sat on his thick end and DID NOTHING, knowing the kid was bringing an obviously loaded rifle and a significant amount of ammunition to feed it, out of the car park, across the lawns, and right intp the frint door of the school building.
An intelligent and competent individual would have IMMEDIATELY put the whole buildong on lockdown and called the BCSO and probably also state police. Nicholas Cruz would have surely been arrested and charged with several MORE felonies, his rifle cinfiscated as illegally purchased, and the whole event would have been an earthworm sized bump on the roadway of history. Cruz would be alive languising in some dettention facility, hopefully on federal charges. And none of us would know about the Coward of Broward, Hogg Boyy, nor the Grating Thorn Bird. And the best part, seventeen amazing people would still be alive today. Or at least not have been murdered by this two bit twit wth anger issues unchecked.

Truth be told, I never got much in terms of site visits to make the effort worth the time. About “The Only Ones”

So named from a comment by DEA agent Lee Paige, who told a classroom full of kids he was “the only one” qualified to be armed and then promptly shot himself in the foot, the purpose of this feature has never been to bash cops. The only reason I do this is to amass a credible body of evidence to present when those who would deny our right to keep and bear arms use the argument that only government enforcers are professional and trained enough to do so safely and responsibly. And it’s also used to illustrate when those of official status, rank, or privilege, both in law enforcement and in some other government position, get special breaks not available to we commoners, particularly (but not exclusively) when they’re involved in gun-related incidents.
