  1. How many of them realize that the first one was actually called to fix the Articles of Confederation when four of the 13 delegates, with moral backing of George Washington, essentially hijacked the whole process and created a complete rewrite?

    Once a con-con is called, it is outside of the control of the existing Constitutional authority. What would stop people like Schumer and Durbin, who don’t believe in rules, from seizing the reins and creating the kind of government they’ve always dreamed of?
