According to the FBI, the gun was working correctly… until they themselves sheered the sear by pounding on the hammer with a mallet, trying to get it to fire without pulling the trigger.

So, yeah. That trigger group is worn.. now. I would hope the feebs documented the pre- and post condition in photos, but if this why the prosecutors are dropping the charge, I guess they didn’t.
