  1. Could have been worse. He could have remembered his gun and left his grandson in the bathroom.

  2. Amazing how quickly “officials” twisted this as a rebuke against peaceable gun owners: “Officials are hoping the situation IS A REMINDER TO GUN OWNERS(??) to keep THEIR firearms secure at all times.”

    Perhaps such situational reminders are best served to those on the “blue line”.

  3. IMO, termination with prejudice is too lenient.
    He joins legions of air marshals, secret service, local badges who can’t keep track of their possessions.
    May they all shoot their feet off and join the Lee Paige Legion of (dis)Honor.
