Man with the knife runs out into the street. Officer with a Gen5 Glock opens fire and misses multiple times.

A 4omm launcher that fires knives? Interesting! Or did the officer use the launcher to impact a man who just happened to have a knife in his chest?

This is an example of why computers have trouble parsing natural languages. It is akin to “a man eating shark” that would not get a second glance if the man were in a seafood restaurant.
Yeah, I had to go back and read that one again, too.
Stupid question….. why not just say HITS the man?
I read that a couple of times and using the word impacts comes across as wrong.
Reason for asking is that I grew up in the 50s.
