Exclusive: Is The Government of Hawaii Lying About The Missing and Dead on Maui?
Vultures all, the looters, the land speculators, the rope-selling economic fascists, and especially the government…
Forget it, Jake, it’s Hawaii.
Hawai’i Electric, if it’s anything like any other electric utility I’ve patronized, has finite resources and manpower.
They knew of the wildfire threat from their lines, and if I were a gambling man I’d bet they had a LOT of people who were willing and able to fix or mitigate that threat.
But a government mandate takes precedence, every time.
In this case, what that mandate did was redirect resources that could have helped prevent the wildfire (or at least lessen its severity), to mostly-unworkable “green energy” pipe dreams. The real problems could have been fixed, but instead they had to devote their resources to mandated government fantasy.
