  1. Florida’s firearm preemption law holds local officials personally responsible for attempts to circumvent the law. See paragraph 3 in the linked text.

    Florida’s approach seems to fairly effective. The fact that Gifford’s is against the Florida law should be regarded as a plus. Perhaps Ohio should look in to amending theirs.
