We talked about this yesterday.
And now, the rest of the story:
đ¨ The DFL knows they don't have the votes for their gun bans
— MN Gun Owners Caucus (@mnguncaucus) October 2, 2025
So whatâs their new trick?
đ A constitutional amendment to BAN your commonly owned firearms & mags.
Translation: political cover for weak members too scared to vote for a ban.
They'll claim, "I just wanted to⌠pic.twitter.com/7WnWX2xRPx

Ahh, let the citizens self-screw themselves via amendments touching topics that chest thumping pols won’t dare tip their positions on.
We do it in TX too, tax & spending issues mostly, at least to date. We’re looking at 17 amendments on the Nov. ballot. Guar-an-damn-tee that not one in a thousand voters will understand even one or two of them.
Walz has backed himself into a corner. One one hand, he’s got us, gun owners furious at him. On the other he’s got an election next year, so he’s got to “look good” cause the radicals want him to “do something”. And I just saw he’s got Moms Demand Action’s furious at him now, for his inaction.
All that tough talk’s got him in a bind.
