Drawing a clear line in the sand on gun rights, the Texas Senate has passed a bill that would make it illegal for state or local officials to enforce federal red flag laws, going so far as to criminalize cooperation with such orders. [More]
Now pass one authorizing the arrest of federal enforcers.

Unfortunately, as happens more times in Texas than we foolish voters anticipate when we erect our representatives, the House companion bill appears to have been assigned to a committee that will never schedule it for a hearing, let alone a vote to release it to the floor.
The House has an R majority but the speaker of the House was chosen by the Ds.
And our good Governor has not, to my knowledge, commented on this.
Chance of passage < 4% IMO.
Excuse me, got to get on the red light scam cam bill…we got rid of those a few years back but the profit seeking scuzbuckets never give up.
