  1. To be fair, “the Republican Party” usually has NO control over who is or isn’t a “member.” Some random Secretary of State does. Did you go online and change your registration from D to R? Congratulations you are now a “member” of the Republican Party. If this exact script had played out in AZ, the GOP would be up the creek with no recourse.
