I’m wondering how a “real reporter” could file this story and not think to look into that. It was the first thing I thought of, but I’m #justablogger.
Because a “real reporter” is just that: a reporter. Not an investigator or a journalist (let alone an investigative journalist), and barely a writer.
Being what they are, they report what they’re told to report. They aren’t paid to think, they’re paid to copy-paste and change just enough words to avoid accusations of plagiarism.
