Closing the Civil Disobedience Loophole

“What I’m interested in is keeping guns out of the hands of those who, by current law, are not supposed to have them,” he said. [More]

  1. Cornyn is a D in R disguise, a go along to get along, screw liberty bag of douche.

OK, no gun bans, but unchallengeable RED FLAGS, BAN private sales, EXPANDED mental health registries, additional disqualifying misdemeanors (speeding?), on and on.

Note comment about ‘rights of current, law-abiding gun owners or citizens’; one might just think that those who come afterwards will not enjoy those rights.

Note also he has never commented on ATF’s billion + records library, aggressiveness in putting FFLs out of business, or anything of substance that might reek of supporting liberty. Look at what he has done, not what he says.

He’s looking to place his legacy and it won’t be one honored for supporting liberty.

    Excuse me whilst I chunder.

Sounds like a plan, Senator. And since, during the process, you’re looking out for the interests of the rest of the country, who have never and will never shoot up a school, you’ll have no trouble keeping your proposals within the bounds of “strict scrutiny”, right, Senator?

    Senator?

What do you mean “He left”?
