Commonsense LEGO Safety Laws

“We’re here to talk about a roughly one-inch piece of plastic. It looks innocuous enough, a little like a LEGO or a k’nex block. But this one-inch piece of plastic is killing people,” said Leigha Simonton, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas. “Machine gun conversion devices can turn Second Amendment-protected firearms into illegal weapons of war, and petty criminals into brutal killers. We cannot have our streets turned into war zones.” [More]

So the federal government has the authority to ban a one-inch piece of plastic– just like the Founders intended. And it’s killing people… does this broad ever listen to herself?

What the hell does Simpleton think “Second Amendment-protected firearms” were intended to be?

  1. The Second Amendment, ALL of the Bill of Rights, were intended to prevent, not some fever dream conspiracy theory, but actual abuses suffered by the British colonists at the hands of their own government.

For clarity, she need only contemplate what is happening in that mural you’ve adopted and placed at the top of your current blog. Those are not gallant Americans firing at invaders. Those are formerly loyal British Colonist pushed to their limits and responding by opening fire ON THEIR OWN TROOPS.

As a result of the bloody eight year struggle that followed, and was very nearly lost on more than one occasion, they vowed that their descendants would never have to go through such an experience again if they had anything to say about it.
