There is every reason to believe that he has analyzed the crap out of that issue and every other issue that he comes up against when dealing with the neurotypical people he deals with every day.
Elon Musk is on the Autism Spectrum. And after watching interviews with him where he’s in an unrehearsed posture, I’d say he’s at least a 2 on a scale of 3. He’s no Adam Lanza, but I’d bet he spends an inordinate amount of time trying to make sense of what comes through his “mindblindness” and using “masking” techniques in dealing with “normies” in his daily life.

Take note of Dave’s body language (and that of the host). They’re both exhibiting a symptom: repetitive motion under stress. Dave rubs his hands on his thighs and the host twirls in his chair.
