The Democrat Party truly does seem lost.
Unfortunately, most Democrats are still going to vote Democrat, so we can’t get complacent and figure Republican midterm victories are a done deal– we need to remind gun owners that that “Red Wave” they were counting on never happened.
Sorry, I should’ve been more clear. I was referring to the Democrat Party leadership seems lost. So many competing nutcase factions vying for power at the same time, within the party’s leadership.
You’re right about Dem voters. A neighbor, who hates that a new house is being built on our block, was ranting and raving about construction being slow, “all because of Trump’s stupid tariffs”.
And she went on a 5 minute tirade about Trump, and how it’s “his fault” the house that no one wants built on our block, isn’t being built fast enough. I didn’t argue, as you can’t rationalize the irrational… She’s worse than irrational.
Meanwhile the Republicans, in my district, in my state, put up the dumbest, most bleeding heart-anti gun candidates they can find, and feign shock when they lose. Even for state legislative races, half the time there’s no Republican even running.

Hogg’s anger will be his downfall. He’ll never win over anyone who disagrees, and he’ll alienate those who’d agree with him, with his unchecked anger.
