Can you imagine explaining this to Samuel Adams?

ALSO from SAF:
The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its partners secured a major victory today after the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a mandate overturning California’s “one-gun-per-month” restriction, setting a historic precedent.
I don’t see a link posted yet, but when it is you should be able to read the whole release here.
The Massachusetts non-resident permit process was the impediment that forced this former resident permit holder to abandon plans to attend my 50th college reunion, a major life event that will never occur again.
One of my fav T-shirts says:
“Things I hate
1. T-shirts
2. Lists
3. Irony”
About that “Shot Heard ‘Round the World.”
After the dust settled, both sides were surprised enough by the events that they held inquests.
“William Diamond’s Drum” is a fictionalized account of the facts, or as close to the facts as could be determined by those inquests.

From statements given by participants on both sides, that famous shot might have been a negligent discharge from a militiaman either in or behind the tavern that was just to the rear of the spot where the militia was in the process of forming ranks, and where many of the militia members had been having “breakfast” while waiting for the King’s forces to show up.
A pivotal moment in American history likely caused by an ND!
Now that’s some irony right there!
