An Attleboro police detective faces several criminal charges after he allegedly fired a gun into the bottom of a canoe that his friend and brother were aboard. The head of the Cambridge Police as well as the Colonel of the MSP did not acknowledge the role of the “civilian” in this, only the bravery of the responding officers, who mostly arrived after the shooting was done.
