Let’s see… 40M gun owners, say just 3% of them went active, and since the Three Percent is not an identifiable organization, the covert ops aimed at disrupting and taking out key players would present no readily identifiable targets. So now they’re going to send swarms into neighborhoods? The whole country would be dragged into it, and face it, what kind of treasonous coward would not fight a monstrous regime making war on its citizenry?

Rather than being a Constitutionalist, Massie was always a full on Libertarian, & while I embrace some of the Libertarian principles, I can’t get fully on board.
While his wife was still alive, I think she was a moderating influence on his politik, but she passed from cancer (RIP) a few years ago, & Massie hooked up with some younger, & much more Liberal gal. Ever since, he’s been pretty much “off the rails”, & if he doesn’t think some Bill or Resolution that will MOSTLY do good things for ALL of America, & that the Dems are against due to TDS, is a “perfect” Bill or Resolution, he votes with the Dems, & that is just plain ol’ unforgivable.
Sure, rail against what you don’t like, try to get others onboard with what you’re thinking & proposing as a counter (yeah, I know – this is the Swamp, & this would be like herding cats, but that’s what you signed up for!), but don’t hang it all cause you didn’t get your way!
Guess there’s some voters out there who may also think along these lines, cause Massie’s outta’ there!
Most, some say up to 90%, of what our government does is outside of the powers delegated to it by the Constitution of United States. Although we care most about the part BATFE does, they’re not the only guilty party. The whole government is ignoring “the box” create by the founders. We care about the Second Amendment infringements. Real “small ‘l’ ” libertarians care about all of it.
Its time to stop the “getting things done” excuse and make them cite the clause in the Constitution that says they have the power to do whatever they’re trying to justify.
It doesn’t matter if whatever it is is a good idea. It doesn’t matter if it needs being done. If it ain’t in the Constitution someone else besides FedGov is supposed to be doing it.
You do remember one justification for the Waco raid was that Koresh was molesting children, right? When did that become part of the job of the BATFE? And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, is how the monster grows. How we got to where we are today. And what Massie was trying, with damned little help from his colleagues, to stop. If he had a bit more help maybe he’d still be at it. Lord knows more people need to try.
