This whole Iranian thing is ultimately about them not being motivated enough to do it for themselves. If they want the lion with the sword back, they need to pick up the damn sword and wield it themselves.
There are those, in South Florida and elsewhere, who say that Latin America is in the state it is in because they’ve used us as a crutch. Things just don’t get too far out of whack before Uncle Sam notices and sends his Misguided Children in to set things back on an even keel.
A case in point, in Haiti, one can follow barefooted women with pots, baskets, and bales on their heads, using muscle power to move the nation’s economy, down dirt roads until you come to a concrete bridge that seems to have dropped from another planet.
