Trump Administration Moves To Automate U.S. Military Draft Registration… While Trump built the campaign that led him back to the White House upon a platform of refusing to drag the country into any new conflicts like the endless cycle of regime change wars in the Middle East that has haunted the United States since the dawn of the new millennium, that promise has been completely broken little more than a year into his second term in the Oval Office. [More]
It’s like he’s trying to break every promise and blow the midterms, be impeached and then prosecuted, and hand the whole thing over to the Dems in ’28.
I know… 3D chess!

Prof. John Mearsheimer : No Way for Trump to Win [Watch]
A lefty Pete Seeger song comes to mind.
Alluded to in the conversation between Judge Nap and the professor is a concern I’ve had from Day One– that the Iranian masses don’t have the will and the wherewithal to replace their regime, thinking we can do it for them is an invitation to disaster, that what they would replace it with has never been identified, and that Reza Pahlavi is the wrong horse to back.
It does kind of raise some questions for those who maintain millions of hard core gun owners would have no chance against a gun-confiscating government. If an ostensibly omnipotent military can’t bring the Iranians to heel, what makes people think they could do it here, where “We are everywhere“?
We’ll see how wrong I am. Pray that I am. I do.

From Biden’s ‘war’ on gas prices to ‘small price to pay,’ GOP shifts tone as Iran conflict hits pumps – Gas prices jumped 50 cents per gallon since Operation Epic Fury began, reaching $3.54 average nationwide [More]
So, with a “war” under Trump it’s basically .02/gal. more than in Biden’s heyday.
Nobody remembers the sacrifices that had to be made by “the greatest generation”– and the sacrifices they required of enemy civilian populations.
Ol’ Clausewitz was right, and it’s pretty obvious the freak-out-over-no-toilet-paper generation will fold like a cheap suit and vote in communists if subjected to what would previously have been considered inconveniences.
And don’t get me wrong– I’m still not convinced that the course we’re on is the best one, I’m merely making an observation about the fortitude of an electorate that more often than not asks what their country can do for them.
Oh, look: There is no joy in Mudville.

It’s worth asking the man what his plans are in this regard…

Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi called for “humanitarian intervention” in his country and urgent international measures against Iran’s ruling regime amid protests and reported mass casualties. Pahlavi appealed to President Donald Trump after Trump said regime change in Iran “would be the best thing that could happen.” [More]
Lead the charge, Reza. We’re not going to die so you can rule without earning it.
We’re told your old man got out with $2B and you won’t say how much of that you now control.
This whole Iranian thing is ultimately about them not being motivated enough to do it for themselves. If they want the lion with the sword back, they need to pick up the damn sword and wield it themselves.

We strike military targets. They target civilians.
Let’s see what happens to that “increasing appetite” when their people here start doing that. Speaking of which, file this under “WTF?”
I want the Constitution observed. Since this affects me and mine, I want my representatives to weigh in. Calling someone who agrees with that a “pathetic loser” is ad hominem, a logical fallacy. It does not speak well to position or character.
Oh, and I’d like to see the evidence.
Still, we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge how we got to this point.
