Jan 6 staffers turn on Liz Cheney [More]

Notes from the Resistance
Liz Cheney predicts rise of ‘new conservative party,’ says Republicans ‘more dangerous’ than Dems [More]
Spoken like a true Democrat.
Her old man is a devoid-of-principles whore, too.
These 6 members of the Jan. 6 committee are up for reelection in 2022 [More]
They’re all in safe seats, so the DSM is trying to make it look like because their wins are guaranteed, what they’re doing is a popular and winning strategy.
The only political outcomes that really count here are what happened to traitors Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and why.

Cheney faults Youngkin’s plan to campaign with election denier in Ariz. [More]
But wait, there’s more!
Yeah, take helpful political advice from a demonstrable traitorous enemy.

In a brilliant display of modesty, Cheney not-so-subtly compares herself to Lincoln. [More]
If you want to minimize that, I suggest telling Dad to keep his distance.

Zero degrees of separation…
A careful review of the official transcripts of its eight long hearings shows the committee repeatedly made connections that weren’t there, took events and quotes out of context, exaggerated the violence of the Capitol rioters, and omitted key exculpatory evidence otherwise absolving former President Donald Trump of guilt. While in some cases, it lied by omission, in others, it lied outright. It also made a number of unsubstantiated charges based on the secondhand accounts—hearsay testimony—of a young witness with serious credibility problems. [More]
So who are you going to heed to form an opinion on Liz Cheney? These guys or Kevin Costner?
[Via bondmen]

So it’s no surprise that, desperate not to be humiliatingly kicked to the curb by constituents who have cause to feel betrayed, Cheney is turning to “star power” to manipulate those who do not think too deeply about their duty as citizens to make informed choices. And in this case, she could not have picked a more appropriate celebrity to put the exclamation point on totally turning her back on everything she formerly stood for. [More]
Has someone who will insult her former supporters, embrace her ostensible enemies, and do anything for power ever really meant anything she’s said?

“In our nation’s 246-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump. He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him,” the elder Cheney says in the ad, which the younger Cheney started running on Thursday, a week and a half before she faces a Trump-endorsed challenger in the Republican congressional primary Wyoming’s single congressional seat. [More]
And by “Trump” he means anyone who supported the agenda he campaigned on and who still doubts the official J6 narrative.
This is what someone the DSM calls a “staunch gun advocate” with ultra-establishment insider loyalties looks like:
“Whether or not there’s some measure there in terms of limiting the size of the magazine that you can buy to go with a semiautomatic weapon — we’ve had that in place before. Maybe it’s appropriate to re-establish that kind of thing…
Hey Dick: Don’t you have somebody to shoot in the face or something?
(This came across the transom after I submitted my latest AmmoLand piece on Liz Cheney getting longtime gun-grabber Kevin Costner’s support, which may be out later today.)
UPDATE
Here.

Constitutional law expert Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax on Tuesday that the Jan. 6 committee ”does not want the public to hear the other side” of the narrative it is presenting in prime time. “That’s why it didn’t permit any cross-examination, any confrontation, any due process, anything resembling fairness”… [More]
Which is why none of them are interested in publicly questioning why Michael Byrd was given a pass for executing Ashli Babbitt when we all know how this country would have erupted in flames had a white officer shot an unarmed black woman and then been “exonerated” in a behind-the-scenes CYA session.
“Republican” Liz Cheney wants it that way.
Instead, Cheney and fellow truth-telling Republicans — such as Rice, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker — can form a coalition for democracy with Democrats, independents and other patriotic Republicans. That’s right: They should work to defeat Republicans who perpetrate the “big lie” and threaten future democratic elections. [More]
Well, if “conservative” Jennifer Rubin and The Washington Post think so…
Advance Republicans by electing Democrats! It sounds like there’s an Orwell slogan in there somewhere.

New ‘surprise’ January 6 witness means Liz Cheney will be interrogating her opponent’s campaign manager on TV. Sounds legit! [More]
