Emotional kneejerk (or maybe just plain “jerk”?) teacher.. no, don’t just carry a gun in front of your students. Millions of us go everywhere every day whilst armed and NO ONE KNOWS.Why? Because we have learned how to CNCEAL that handgun.
go and talk to some of the armed everyday teachers in Ohio who have gone through the FASTER Saves Lives programme. They carry every day and as far as I know not one of them has ever been “made” by any or their students.
It ain’t rocket science.
by the way, there was at least one SRO at Stoneman DOugles that day…. who WAS armed and trained. He went outside hunkered down in a corner and did… NOTHING.
And as far as Hogg Boyy is cncerned.. he was three miles away riding on his bicycle oblivious to all that happened. He did not “decide” to become an ” hero” until it was all over.Since then he;s made a rather lucrative “business” about his “heroic actions” on that day.
