UNCLE!

We’re coming up on the end of the week and I haven’t even gotten to news tips sent in yesterday morning yet. Sorry, but the article work that lets me do all this has to come first, and I’ve been up to my neck in that, with a pending article on Merchant Category Codes for Firearms News and the “Active Shooter” Alert bill for AmmoLand.

I’ll get to what I can but chances are I won’t get to most.

Thanks for understanding.

  1. “Put the Big Rocks in First”

In a management training exercise we were tasked with putting a pile of rocks in a seemingly too small bucket. The secret was in the title above. Put the big rocks (the most important tasks) in the bucket first, then the medium sized rocks will sift into the voids around the big rocks, and the small rocks into the voids left by the big and medium sized rocks.

Some shaking and bouncing of the bucket may be helpful, but you’ll get more rocks in the bucket this way.

But that shifts the problem to one of identifying the biggest rocks. Sounds like you have that covered.

They’re the ones that keep the bills paid and the family happy.
