  1. Let me take a wild-a$$ed guess: The vast majority of these incidents are concentrated around the (Deep Blue) Chicago/Cook County area, and are statistical outliers down-state (if there are any at all).

Clearly the solution is to disarm everyone from down-state.

  2. Gov. Prickster will blame Indiana’s gun laws. “Progressives” always find someone else to blame for their policy failures.

  3. The good Gov. should be asked why all those Indiana guns don’t just stay home and shoot up their own state. Could it be because guns cause crime the same way that rats cause garbage?

But lets back up a bit and see if we can figure out Kamala’s “root causes.”

People in Indiana scarf up new and used guns and sell them to gun runners who have connections in Illinois where access to guns is more restrictive. They in turn take those “Indiana guns” that get on Illinois’ governor’s nerves into is state and sell them to folks who couldn’t legally buy one. Then those folks may or may not do something illegal with their illegally acquired gun. Here we get to the good stuff. We’re well away from the effect and getting close to the causes. Our new gun owners can’t get one legally in Illinois for a whole host of reasons and Illinois creates new ones all the time. But for the most part, they’re people mentioned in “Codrea’s Law” which states “If you can’t be trusted with a gun you can’t be trusted without a custodian.” But the politicians in Illinois, going way back into history, generally don’t believe in custodians. They seem to prefer having their untrustworthy folks running amok with the rest of the folk. So they are and they do. Illinois is simply fond of electing politicians with a weak understanding of the whole cause and effect thing.

So there’s your “root cause.” Illinois has a historical habit of electing folks who just don’t understand how causes are connected to effects. And neither do their constituents.

QED It’s all the voters’ fault.
