What they don’t realize is that when the “switch” finally gets flipped and the Constitution-minded citizens decide enough is enough, there won’t be any anger about it. Just cold, emotionless, ruthless resolve to do what needs to be done to win our country back.
After it’s done, we still won’t be angry; we’ll mourn the losses, saddened that domestic enemies — fellow Americans — made such actions necessary.

The Battle of King’s Mountain saw “Overmountain Men” from the Carolina backcountry, Appalachian Mountains, and what now constitutes Kentucky and Tennessee fight and destroy a British force. Strictly speaking, they were not colonial militia at all. Rather they were people that had moved west to get away from both British and colonial rule. They had taken exception to a threat from British Maj. Patrick Ferguson, commanding a force of loyalist colonists serving under British officers, that he would take their country and “lay waste with fire and sword”. They decided to save Ferguson some trouble and meet him half way. The resulting battle saw exhausted colonial militia repeatedly trying to surrender in vain as there was no one in the opposite force in any mood to accept their surrender. Rather, the Overmountain Men were more than willing to kill and scalp everyone in the British led force for putting them to all that trouble.
The current crop of Tories, now calling themselves Progressives and/or Collectivists had best read up on King’s Mountain before they write checks that they have no prayer of cashing.
