  1. I remember the BLM riots. We live in the suburbs, you could hear endless sirens out on the highway, racing towards Murderapolis. You could even smell smoke from the burning city.
    Our suburb’s police chief and mayor issued curfews.

    Just last week, I went to Walgreens, as I was looking for a bottle of eye drops, I couldn’t reach them. Why? They’re locked up. I had to press a button so a manager could come over, unlock the case and hand one to me. A $13 bottle of eye drops…
    She apologized up and down, and said, “They’ve started growing legs and walking out on their own.”

    This Walgreens is less than a half a mile from the police station…
