Wrong on Rights

Dem Rep. Garamendi: ‘The President Is Absolutely Correct, No Assault Weapons’ [More]

This coming from an old subversive who says the way to stop the influx of drugs and criminals is to forget border security, where tens of millions have illegally crossed, and focus on the Coast Guard.

  1. In 1986, when Simpson-Mazzoli was passed, various estimates put the number of illegals in the USA at approximately 20m.

Here we are 36 years later, after almost two years aof the Biden administrations “secure border” and the estimate is still approximately 20m.

Does anyone with more than a pair of functioning neurons believe that number? Doesn’t matter 20m, 40m, 60m, whatever. Does anyone believe that FedGov, regardless of the party in power, will ever have the will or the resources to find those illegals and deport them?

    OK….. Next question.

Regardless of the number of “assault weapons” in civilian hands, and I trust the estimates as much as the ones I mentioned above, regardless of how you define that term, does anyone believe that FedGov, regardless of the party in power, will be able to collect them, in whatever fashion, without blowing this country apart?
