They seem to think that there is some glaring distinction between guns meant for battle, hunting and target shooting.
Someone inclined to kill with a firearm can do so just as easily with an Olympic free pistol as with a Browning Superposed or an M16.
Where those advocating “common sense gun safety laws that don’t infringe on the Second Amendment” fail is in their reluctance to put that would be killer in an environment where they have no access to firearms of any type and are under 24/7/365 supervision.
I see no indication that they will see the light anytime soon.
