CNN Tries and Fails – Again – to Make Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law Controversial [More]

So a 42-year-old with a violent criminal history threatens an armed 79-year-old with a chainsaw, who responds appropriately, and that’s reason to disparage”Stand Y0ur Ground”?

The only thing controversial is why anyone still watches CNN.

Yeah, my thumbs aren’t what they used to be…

Fortunately, this doesn’t apply to me, because as everyone here knows, especially you LE lurkers, I don’t own any guns. Evil, nasty things always going around killing people…

With permits, of course, which leaves me out.

I don’t see a prognosis yet so I’ll give mine: Good luck getting “Republicans” like Brian Fitzpatrick and Susan Collins not to join with the Democrats to keep this from ever getting to the president’s desk.

The Cognitive Dissonance… It Burns

The national Liberal Gun Club said it has received thousands of training requests since the election, more than in all of 2023. A spokesperson for the group estimated that roughly a quarter were from LGBTQ people. Speaking of Disingenuous Arguments

Received via email:

I don’t have numbers to support my intuitive assesment, but the point is, neither does the guy arguing “public benefit.”

It’s not the first time I’ve disagreed with his opinions, but not being a professional trainer, what do I know?

Military Gun Training in Polish Schools

Unlike in the land of the Second Amendment, where gun prohibitionists who demand avoidance and ignorance label themselves as “commonsense gun safety advocates,” the training is embraced by educators, politicians and parents.  [More]
