Accordingly, we urge you to: 1) Issue a public statement that the ATF will not take further enforcement action regarding the classification of braced pistols as short-barrel rifles under the NFA; 2) Issue an interpretive rule clarifying that firearms equipped with stabilizing braces do not qualify as short-barreled rifles under the NFA; and 3) Through ongoing litigation, enter into a judicially-enforceable consent agreement, which would 1) permanently enjoin the ATF from attempting to revive the Biden-era Rule through new rulemaking and 2) permanently enjoin the ATF from taking any further enforcement action related to the classification of braced pistols as short-barreled rifles under the NFA. Sorry, don’t mean to sound so cynical and distrusting. It’s just that I’m cynical and distrusting.

Damn, there’s good old gun lovin’ John Cornyn, signing onto a Fudd pleasin’ missive with zero chance of changing any damn thing as he should know, having been an overlord, oops, Senator for a score plus four. The only things that count are those embodied in law and tested for constitutionality in courts of competent jurisdiction, not wimpy letters to ensconced for life bureaucratic tyrants…and too many times not even the law means what it says.
“Dear Infringers”
That brought a Ron White line to mind: “I laughed so hard I thought I was gonna throw up!”
You’ve said we don’t hate the DSM enough? I’m pretty sure we CAN’T hate the Infringers enough.
They do what they do we do what we do. Exactly what I said in regard to our WA “bettors” in Olympia where Mike V and I met many times, on Range Day Thursday. We retain and enforce our rights thank you very much
“It’s just that I’m cynical and distrusting.”
Someone who shall remain nameless said “Is it still paranoia if they’re really out to get you?”.
You know who it was, and I know that you know who it was, and you know that I know that you know…..
Oh, never mind. He’s a creep. He’ll always be a creep. But even a blind pig finds an acorn (of truth) once in a while.
