Maryland’s real problem is that, like in many “Blue” jurisdictions, the government has fallen for the fallacy that proposes the government can solve problems by banning something that the people really, really want.
The reality is somewhat different, and Blue state after Blue state have proven that to be true.
In fact, the next state that reduces the number of “assault weapons” in the hands of their citizens as a result of passing a ban will be the first to achieve such a thing.
