So, just what was he demanding from all the Demanding Moms who endorsed him, and who evidently believe “gun violence” is just fine against their political enemies?
I’ll never forget years ago, Rush Limbaugh was taking a call from a listener who was begging to know how to convince his family members to stop voting Democrat, and saying how educated, nice, wonderful they were, but they’d become unhinged at anything right wing or Trump.
Rush’s answer was “You can’t. You can’t rationalize the irrational.”
The same applies here, though, add in the word “evil”.
I’m also reminded of the Stallone movie ‘Cobra’ (1986). Stallone’s saving a model from a cult.
The actor who played the evil cult leader kept asking Stallone who was also the writer, what made his character evil. Stallone said, “He’s evil because he’s evil.”
What I’m getting at was, it seems society was much safer, and peaceful, before we had, “criminal justice”, and “criminal reform”, and “mental health” and “psychiatry”.
After a trial, with full due process, if someone’s found guilty of evil acts, there’s two options which I would approve of, one, lock him up in a cell for the rest of his natural life. Or send him to the gallows.
But get the evil guy off the street and KEEP HIM OFF!
