“If there is any group of people whom the government has a good reason to disarm, it’s people accused of domestic abuse. These individuals are vastly more likely to kill their partners or commit mass shootings.”
That is an interesting unsupported assertion. The likelihood of killing partners or committing mass shootings by the accused is speculative. Accusation of domestic violence is not conviction in a court of law for a felonious activity. The text of the Second Amendment states that the government does not have the right to preemptively disarm regardless of reason.
