More Than a Feeling

“So, yes, I understand the Second Amendment. I understand, you know, bearing arms, but we also need to make sure that we can ensure that folks feel safe in their communities.” [More]

Feelings. Nothing more than feelings.

Seeing as how the ones doing the killings aren’t eligible to take advantage of the open carry law, I don’t suppose there are any, you know, individual choices your congregants could make that would have more of an effect…?

And that’s a pretty big “but” you’ve got there, pastor.

  1. I wonder if this swelled head of a “minister” has actually READ Gods Word.

Jesus was having a little fireside chat with his closest guys, He was cautioning and preparing them for some “things soon to come upon you”. He COMMANDED them to bring a sword along with them. OH, don’t have one? Well go sell your coat and BUY one, then.

Ya think HE was afraid of weapons, or their improper use? Nah. Elsewhere He plainly declared if I wanted to, I could summon legions of angels ahd have them “take care of business” for me.

Pity the poor gutless trembling folks warming their pews. Yes, God IS my protector, but He also gives me wisdom and skill and means. My ultimate trust is in Him, but then, some will recall the story of the huge flood where the guy was praying for rescue. After turning down multiple provided means to escape to safety, the guy ends up in the river and drowns anyway. He has the temerity to ask God “why didn’t you answer my prayer and rescue me?” To which God responds “well, I sent a small power boat, two rowboats, a horseman, a large rescue boat, and a helicopter What more did you want me to do, now?
