I can’t tell if they’re stupid enough to provoke millions of armed Americans or if they know such moves don’t stand a chance (yet) and they’re just flipping us off because they hate us.
Could be a mix of both.

They WANT a civilian war. They think it will be the mechanism they need to assume complete control. They don’t understand what they are about to tap into and that NONE of them are going to survive it. Arrogance and ignorance are a nasty cocktail. So be it.
They want genocide.
They don’t believe a civil war is possible because there hasn’t been one in their lifetimes. If they did believe, they’d be better armed, don’t you think? In a way, that makes them more dangerous, not less. People who don’t believe they can fall will walk right up to the edge of a cliff for nothing more than a kewl selfie for their Facebook page.
So they continue their provocations, thinking nothing bad can or will can come of them.
As my neighbor, who happens to be named Murphy, often says, “What could possibly go wrong?”
