I saw him twice with Dad during his Cowboy Rides Away Tour. First was in the Twin Cities, the other in Des Moines. In Des Moines, he brought out his opening act, Ronny Dunn and announced this would be the first time he’d ever done a duet of ‘Amarillo By Morning’… It was great.
Perhaps I was not clear.
I’m just saying we saw George Strait live twice. Both were great shows. But that was ten plus years ago now.
Speaking of ‘Weight of a Badge’, that one always brings this one from Eddy Arnold to mind, ‘A Piece Of America Died’, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-6YOPyq_lA
