    Until about 25 years ago, the federal citizenship exam asked immigrants to name the most important idea in the Declaration of Independence. The “correct” answer was that all men are created equal… which isn’t the correct answer at all! The actual correct answer is that a government’s duty is to protect the rights of its citizens, and when it chronically fails to do that, the citizens have a right to replace it BAMN — something no government would ever voluntarily admit.

    If citizens don’t understand what the DoI is, it’s because they have been carefully educated not to.
