  1. “Not evil, just wrong” might be correct … up to a point.

    That point is the moment in which a mistaken person is given correction.

    I’ve said before, many times: If a person is “honestly mistaken” (another way to say “not evil, just wrong”) and is given correction, exactly one of two things will happen: either they will cease to be mistaken, or they will cease to be honest.

    If they cease to be mistaken — if they stop being wrong — then great.

    If they cease to be honest — if they intentionally choose to be wrong — they are perpetuating a known lie, which is evil.
