  1. I’m guessing that neither of those gentlemen (and way too many others) are familiar with US v Cruikshank (1876) in which SCOTUS ruled that RKBA did not come from the Second Amendment or the US Constitution and was not dependent upon either for its existence.

    So since RKBA was not established by the Second Amendment, it would not be eliminated if that amendment was repealed. However, in accordance with Jefferson’s “Declaration of Independence” text (as amended), any repeal and/or infringements of the right would have a bearing on the US Government’s standing as a “just” government.
