I grew up in the 50s and had easy access to firearms.
I never shot up a school or anything else and I am now pushing 77.
It is NOT the guns.
“Most school shooters grew up with guns as key part of social life, study suggests.”
As did an entire nation of people who have never and will never shoot up a school or any place else.
I agree, it needs to be deconstructed.
If most school shooters grew up in environments in which guns were “a key part of social life,” why did so many have go out of their way to “acquire” guns as part of their planning process? Why did so many of their parents come out and say something akin to, “We don’t own any guns, where could he have gotten it?”
Seems to me, if guns were “a key part of social life,” they would already have possessed them.
Something smells funny here….
