The Kansas Supreme Court agreed Friday with a district court decision tossing a lawsuit filed by a former Emporia State University football player shot by a teammate who mistakenly believed that disassembling his newly purchased handgun required pulling the trigger. [More]
What a moron.
Jonathan Lowy. Figures.
At what point are gunmakers going to file bar complaints and sue him for deliberately filing nuisance lawsuits, and courts slap him down for wasting their time with unethical lawfare harassment?

Curiously, this IS true of Glocks — at least the older generations, of which I own several. Of course, you’re supposed to unload them first and watch where you’re pointing them when you do it,
Gen. 5 Glocks still must have their triggers pulled for disassembly, at least my Glock 17 Gen. 5 does.
Springfield XD line, too. The slide won’t clear the internal hammer until it’s dropped into the frame and out of the way, and the only way to drop it is to pull the trigger.
My personal knowledge of specific makes and models is limited, but from what I’ve heard, it’s true of many-if-not-most semi-auto handguns. Not all by any means, but many.
At least one court FINALLY put a stop to this ambulance chasing/anti gun crap.
