  1. Many Americans will agree that “we” need stricter gun laws while also revealing they have no idea what our current gun laws are.

And in that group you can include our current President, his vice, most if not all of his cabinet and advisers, congress et al, and most of the inhabitants of the greater Washington DC area, and a host of others scattered across the fruited plain..

“You couldn’t buy a cannon when, in fact, the Second Amendment passed.” — Pres. Joe Biden

“Shoulder thing that goes up” — Rep. Carolyn McCarthy

“This right here has ability with a thirty caliber clip to disburse with thirty bullets within half a second. Thirty magazine clip in half a second…” — CA State Senator Kevin De Leon

“These are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now, they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.” — CO State Rep. Diana DeGette

“She simply misspoke in referring to ‘magazines’ when she should have referred to ‘clips,’ which cannot be reused because they don’t have a feeding mechanism,” — DeJette’s spokesperson, Juliette Johnson

  2. Fuck what NPR says “most Americans think.”
“A citizen’s constitutional rights can hardly be infringed simply because a majority of the people choose that it be.”
–SUPREME COURT OF THE US, WESTBROOK V. MIHALY, 2 CAL 3D 756

  3. If this is really the case, most Americans are jackasses.
    Come and take it.
