Can you imagine a city where its leaders’ ambition is to be like Cleveland?
I look at the crime map over at Neighborhood Scout and my older brother and sister and I played safely and happily in what is now labeled one of the “most dangerous” neighborhoods.

Our city has faced several very difficult weeks since the fatal shooting on November 28. Since that time, I have been made aware of threats against specific officers and the entire police department. This is unacceptable behavior. No one deserves to have threats made against them. [More]
Maybe if they cleared this up I’d agree:
Akron Mayor Shammas Malik released a statement saying he was “left with many serious questions” after watching the bodycam video, including why the officer did not “activate their body cameras upon exiting their vehicle” and why the officers “used rifles instead of handguns.”
Still, 15-year-old out at at 11 pm with a gun… is it unfair to wonder about the family?
