The massacre at Columbine High School happened April 20, 1999.

There have been quite a few similar “events” in the 20+ years since Columbine. You would think that by now school administrations across this country would have studied these events, identified common security holes, and remediated them to make such events more difficult.
Yet just one county north of me, in Broward County, FL., home of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High school, they have yet to fully implement mandated changes ordered for schools statewide in Florida.
